Re: actos instead of metformin

I could no longer tolerate the horrid stomach problems metformin brought, and was switched to actos.

I finally had a period on actos, and it seems to certainly be helping the insulin resistance. I have not noticed any hair growing back, but I am also on spironolactone.

I have a 3 month followup on actos in January, I will post how the bloodwork turns out as opposed to metformin.

The only side effect I have noticed is a slight metalliac taste in my mouth at times.
