Ok this is my thought on all this loosing weight will help stuff. If you start eating properly, stick to a PCOS friendly diet and exercise you are going to feel better. When you start doing that you are going to loose weight. Now I am not saying loosing weight does not help. What I am saying is that loosing weight is a by-product of learning what your body can and can not handle and changing to that new life style. I hate it when things are blamed on weight, when in fact it is the things that you are surrounded with, eating, drinking, etc.. that cause the weight and the yucky feeling. I have not lost all my weight, and I have a lot more to loose, but since going on met and changing a few things around I feel ALOT better. The weight I have lost is nothing significant, compared to what i need to loose so it obviously is not that. I feel better because my body is straightening out. Whether I weigh 285 or 185 I feel good, that is what is important. But of course that is just MHO.
