Dear Brenda,

I have a two year old daughter, and I think about her and PCOS almost every day. The only encouraging thing I can say is that if she does have it later in life, I know her chances for effective treatment will easily be much better than mine, and that PCOS is not so bad that I would prefer not to be here at all, nor do I expect her to feel that way.

I appreciate where you are coming from, though. It's a hard decision.
