Dear Angel, I'll try to help you decipher your med records. Firstly, a laparoscopy is unable to provide a definitive diagnosis of PCOS. It can tell you if you have PCO, but NOT the syndrome. If this is the only thing he has based your diagnosis on, it may be incorrect to think you have PCOS. He also hasn't given you a definite diagnosis of adenomyosis. Without doing a hysteroscopy, he won't be able to. Endometriosis isn't quite the same as adenomyosis. Both involve menstrual tissue being where it shouildn't be - endometriosis is outside the uterus, adenomyosis is inside the muscle walls of the uterus. A uterine prolapse is when your uterus is sinking down through your pelvic floor. You may find you can feel alump in your vagina, or that sometimes it is hard to pee. With some cases of prolapse, it is enough to do your pelvic floor (Kegel) exercises religiously and this will help. Love Emma
