i need to vent and ask questions

I just got back from the doctor's office. i picked up my records from him in preparation of changing to a new doctor. my doctor had given me a laparoscopy to see what was causing my pain and he told me i had pcos. it was no big deal though. after researching pcos i found that it is a big deal! so i decided to switch. after reading my records, i've found that not only do i have polycystic ovaries but i also have endometriosis. he failed to inform me of that. can you believe it? Here are his findings: bilaterally, the ovaries were slightly enlarged with multiple cysts. The uterus itself was boggy and slightly enlarged consistent with probable adenomyosis. The patient had significant prolapse. does anyone know what that stuff means? it also says postoperative diagnosis: 1. undesired fertility 2. chronic pelvic pain of unkown origin. correct me if i'm wrong, but it sounds to me like he found where the pain was coming from. ovaries and endometriosis!

I'm nervouse about going to my new doctor tomorrow. i have lost some faith in doctors, and i worry this doctor will not be any better. at least thanks to ya'll, i'm going there armed with a lot more information! Thanks for reading my venting! wish me luck!
