Well guys, I started the Atkins Diet yesterday. I have been on 2500mg of Met for a while now and think that I am about as adapted to it as I will get. I had been low carbing and lost 10 lbs in the last 6 weeks. But over thanksgiving I had some encouragement. My parents and my uncle have all three gone on the Atkins diet and lost so much weight. My mom lost 4 pants sizes (3 months), my uncle about 60 lbs (4 months, my dad 45 lbs (3 months). My father is on 2000mg of glucophage a day. I decided if they could do it, so could I. Now, one day into it, I am hoping that I can do it. :) Wish me luck.
