pants *grrr*From: jodi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 27 Nov 2000 14:06:46 -0600 (CST)
i'm wondring lately if THIS is possibly a PCOS issue... does anyone else here have a HELL of a time finding jeans and pants that fit??? women's pants make me feel like a clown. the waist is always too tight and the hips are always too big. if i get the waist to fit, the hips are WAY too big. i find guy's jeans fit me a lot better. the waist band doesn't come up so high and it doesn't squeeze the hell out of me. (i really hate those pants with the pleats in the front that poof out like a balloon while the overlight tight waist band is squooshing my stomach in...) my favorite pair of pants is a pair of couroroys a (guy) friend gave me cuz they were too short on him. i went out yesterday to try to find more guys cords - to goodwill, no where fancy :) - and they didn't have any in my size. i did find a pair of JUNIORS cords that fit me almost perfectly. i guess juniors pants are cut with the assumption that the pronounced hip/waist ratio hasn't developed yet. :) unfortunately they are also cut with the premise that there is no fat on the thighs... so i stuff two skeins of yarn in my pants and walked around the house for a half hour to stretch them out a little. voila. a perfct fit now. i'm just wondering if anyone else has found this, that women's pants just don't FIT. - jodi
