wow... that's funny that you (anne) have good results with the silk-epil!

as for what it is it's this little do-dad with rotating opening and closing metal disks... it lets your sort of pluck a large area at once. legs, etc. i think it hurts more than waxing - or maybe it just hurts in a different, more drawn out way - and it always seems to make my hair come back ingrown and infected. i tried loofas, lotions, everything - my legs were just a MESS from this thing. but i guess your milage may vary. apparently it works for some people. :)

i find waxing works far better for me. but i did like the no-mess ness of the silk-epil. even with sugar wax, which is easier to clean up, you end up very sticky while you're waxing.
