Cindy, A lot of doctors aren't keen to prescribe drugs such as met when a woman is trying to fall pregnant. This is because there is no conclusive study that says that met isn't harmful to a developing foetus. Most studies are leaning towards that it isn't a problem, but can't say for certain. Hopefully more research will be done and then more doctors will be happy to prescribe met during pregnancy. Progesterone suppositories can be useful in helping to prevent miscarriage in women with PCOS.

Love Emma
