I had the same problem with my hair! it fell out everywhere. It started right after I had my son and didnt stop for years! I cut it all short and wore a baseball hat all the time. it was terrible. But I was diagnosed with hypothyroid too. I have been taking synthroid and now I have a great head of hair.

My hair stylist couldn't get over the change. It took about a year and a half to get thicker (and still not as thick as it once was -but no one but I know that ;0))

Definitely get checked for your thyroid!

Best of luck to you!
