A nurse at my local surgery is also PCOS and she used to be able to grow a full beard faster than her husband. She was put on an anti-androgen tablet for another (she didn't specify what) medical condition. She says that the tablets didn't help the condition she was taking them for, but she now does not have a beard. The tablets she is taking are the ones that cause chemical castration and the opening sentance on the leaflet inside the box says "You might not be able to get an erection......"
