I too felt the way you did for many years with my then-boyfriend. He seemed so perfect to me, and I was fat and bald and had acne!! I used to just burst into tears and present him with that same argument: "But you deserve something better." Every single time, he would smile so gently at me, and say, "I think that's MY decision to make, don't you?" I married him earlier in the year... Hang in there! This is an awful disease to cope with emotionally, but don't let it rob you of your happiness. Also remember that PCOS is a disease, not something that you have done. Your boyfriend would stay with you if you had cancer, diabetes, a stroke, whatever (well, I would imagine!) Not that I am comparing PCOS to these other diseases, but the idea that he is not going to leave you because your health is being screwy.
