Hey Melissa-
How confusing for you to get this opposing information! I am sorry we
all made it worse for you! It sounds like you have a great doctor that
really knows what they are talking about. If it were me, I would really
discuss low carbing with them, but if they still thought that food
pyramid stuff was the way to go, go with that. Worst case scenario, you
can always give low carbing a try if food pyramid doesn't work out for
you, right? Either way, you're eating healthy and that's a good thing.
