First thing you need to do is get into to see the specialist. With your concerns and continuous pain, you have every right to have an earlier appointment.

With regards to the pain - maybe it has to do with the high dosage bcps? Taking progestin 14 days out of 28 left me with bad 'congested' and crampy pain for the first two cycles, but I think that was my body saying 'what are you doing to me woman'!

You need to see the specialist ASAP. Find a new GP too. His lack of concern is symptomatic of the ignorance about this disease. when I was 18 and concerned aobut my periods and hair growth, I was told 'what do you expect, hormones are fat soluble, your body cant produce enough. pull your socks up and lose weight, and it'll all stop.' By a Gyn. Our society feels sanctimonious about people who are overweight, and has a blid spot when it comes to the real cause.
