Hi Krista, My 17 year daughter has had all of the things you are speaking about. Believe me, we understand the pain, all of it. She has tried double dosing the pills in order to shut her ovaries down. Most pills put her through a roller coaster of depression. Currently she is taking one Diane35 pill a day and has done fairly well. The really best things for her has been metformin- she worked up to 1500 mg per day and started to see results after 4-6 months. She had rapidly gained 40 lbs but lost it all on metformin. She also takes spironolactin. You are not alone. With time her ovarian pain has gotten better...sounds just like yours. Have you gotten Samuel Thatcher's book on PCOS? It is availale from pcosupport.org from Amazon.com. It is excellent. I have found the very best souce of info is this group of women on this discussion board. Feel free to email us privately at mollys@home.com or rachels1@home.com. Take care!
