What you did was wonderful, don't worry if she doesn't respond. She might be too shocked, don't be suprised if out of the blue (even in a couple of yrs) she might respond back to you and thank you. I trully believe that everything in life has a reason, so there a reason why that girl had to gossip about her roomate to her friends, and there is a reason why you overheard the conversation. Usually, every negative situation there is a postive side. Hopefully, if nothing else, it gave her comfort to hear from you that you cared so much to reach out. You have a lot of courage to be open and speak out. Sometimes you have to hit a couple of "right" doors to get a response. PCOS is still relatively new to the rest of the world, although I have seen in it more health and beauty magazines, so helpfully the word will reach out to the many women who are suffering from this or even to those who might have similar symptoms to just find out what is going on with their own bodies. So don't give up on your mission (if this is something you want to pursue). Hehehe, I enjoyed the side note about the rude roomate. Take care Enjoy! --Vicki--
