I am 25 yrs old and was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 years ago. I haven't been on any kind of pills or anything to control my symptoms. Mainly because my doctor made it seem as though it wasn't a very big 'deal'. Have always had a weight problem , since my early teens...acne , facial hair and very rarely do I get a period. As of this Spring I decided to start to lose weight. It has been VERY hard to say the least. Cutting out carbs I have managed to drop 50lbs. Haven't had a period in over a year. I have been getting this rash on my thighs , arms and back. Itching , tingling and small sores in the folds of my labia. Welts from head to toe, very small ones. I don't know much about PCOS and I don't really know where to turn. Does this rash sound typical of some pcos symptoms??? What is the liklihood that my hair will fall out??? My WHOLE life the only thing physically that I liked about myself was that I had a full lush head of hair.. and now THIS!! *sigh* Can I have children??? Someone please help me... Sincerely, ann
