The only difference I can see is that by waxing you remove more hair at the same time; both methods remove hair from the root. If you pluck, you should have a good tweezer that grabs the hair well, because the sharp ones break/cut the hair and the root is not pulled. I don't think Sally Hanson wax (hot or cold) is any good. If your hair is coarse, you have no chance with that product. I recommend the Nair strips - they're a lot better and last a lot longer.
