When I was diagnosed with pcos after a laparoscopy my doctor recommended bcp. i turned them down and he just said ok. i said if the only thing they would do is help with pain then i didn't need them. he said pcos is no big deal and i didn't need to take anything if i didn't want to. then i saw all this information and i'm concerned. i want to go back to my doctor and request some blood work. would anyone give me some advice on what to ask for? thanks in advance.
