Lisa... My insulin levels have been 13.9, 15.0, 17.8 over the last six months I have had them tested. Even with the obvious gradual increase, my doc still refuses to prescribe Met. I would change docs again...but, the is my SIXTH! So, not saying that you can't get it... but if you find someone to prescribe it...pass their name on to me! Good luck to you! Alexis
