I know most taking this probably already know but I had forgotten. I started bcp's over a week ago and they increased my headache. As a result I've been taking Aspirin, Tylenol Sinus and Tylenol PM like it's candy. I have had a little more breakout than normal and have been blaming the bcp's. I had completely forgotten that aspirin interferes with Aldactone/Spiro's effectiveness. That is what's been causing my breakout, the Spiro doesn't work as effectively when I'm taking a lot of aspirin... I think I remember reading it's recommended that you don't take over 650mg of aspirin for it to stay effective.

Anyhow I thought I'd remind those taking it, in case you get as dingy as I do and wonder why your symptoms seem to be creeping back... you'll know : ).

By the way drugstore.com under pharmacy has a drug interaction checker now. If's very helpful in letting you know what might mess with the effectiveness or cause a reaction when certain meds of yours are mixed.
