I have been on aldactone for almost a year now. It was prescribed to keep the hair growth to a minumum and help lower my blood pressure. I really like it. My hair is growing in much slower and thinner - a whole lot easier to keep up with. I only use the hair cream remover once every week or two now (and only cos I am so paranoid - I could go longer and look normal still). The hair on the top of my head is STAYING! I used to have a very very thin shiny patch circle on my head. My hair dresser freaked out saying she never seen anyone have hair get thicker like this.

It took about six months to notice a real difference and sometimes the meds had to be upped. You can peak on this and need more my doctor explained.

I love it. Its an overnight miracle, but it sure does help!
