Hi, Kristy: I have experienced worsening heartburn over the last few years, and got to a point where a glass of water would trigger flaming burn. My 20 year old daughter was on medication for reflux at night. Both she and I saw our heartburn disappear soon after beginning a low carb diet - no flour at all. I haven't had an incidence of heartburn since April, no matter how spicy my low carb dinner gets. I don't know if you are already on a low carb regimen - if not, try it for a week and see if it helps.
