Not know what to do

HI there,

I am 24 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS when i was 19. It is only after searching the internet that i have been informed of any facts relating to this disease I am from ontario, Canada and when i went to the Dr. complaining of Amnorrhea (not sure if that's how you spell it) he ran NO tests, besides the regular pap smear, and diagnosed me based on the absence of my menstrual cycle. All he told me was that i had PCOS, i needed to take the pill to regulate my period and that, oh yes, if i ever wanted to have children i would most likely have to take Clomid. Well, i was a freshman in college and at the time trusted what he said in that it was merely an irregularity.....nothing to worry about until childbearing starts. Now i am faced with low energy, mood swings, sometimes i cry for absolutely no reason. I have constant irregular discharge that they say is also normal. I am not overweight but have found that lately i cannot eat much without feeling full and bloated. I am struggling with having to educate myself on this and now i am wondering and scared about all of these things i see you talking about....insulin resistance, risk of endometrial problems, cancer, heart disease......can someone please help me i am at a loss. Also, my email is asevy@hotmail.com or i will check here as well

THANKS!!!!!
