So there are more of us in T.O? You haven't heard anything about a great endo at Women's college? I have and am trying to track her down. I learned that I had this form an article in Chatelaine magazine. I had suspicions that something was really wrong. I was on BCP for years and when I went off to give myself a break that is when everything went wrong! I gained so much weight, I stopped menstruating, I got horrible acne and I sweat like I am in my own personal rainshower. It is terrible! My dr. immediately sent me to an endo who seems to have a good grip on the benifits of Spirno and Diane 35 but I keep hearing that metformin is the way to go. They have not tested my fasting sugar levels so I am just wondering. I just feel awful and I want to feel normal again! I used to be so athletic and I had som much fun with life. Now all I can think about is when do I go back to bed. Is there a support group or a resource centere in Toronto anywhere?
