What was your fasting insulin level? Most labs consider up to 25 normal, while most endo's consider over 10 high. Also, I was told to load up on carbs for 3 days before the fasting insulin test. If you had been low-carbing for a while, the test results might come back falsely low. Mine came back at 34. Good luck.
