I also take 100 mg of sprino a day (in addition to orthocyclen, and while I don't know what it does, my symptoms have not gotten worse and might have improved a little in the 4 years I've been on it. It is my understanding that polycystic ovarian syndrome is just that: a syndrome, and not a disease. And that there is no "cure." Appropriate treatment, however, is a good way to take care of your body and to take control of what is going on the inside, because PCOS does not have to control you or your life. I hope you can find a good endo--I am lucky, because my doctor has PCO also, so she is informative and aware of the newest treatments and options. Good luck- Katie
