any older women coping well with pcos? + spiro question..

hi all,

i'm just wondering if there are any older women out there who were diagnosed with pcos at a younger age and are now managing it well. i'm in my late 20's at the moment and am managing to keep the symptoms under control with a low carb diet, excercise and spiro. (much thanks to the advice from people on these posts:)

i have a feeling though if the condition progresses much more, that these measures may not be enough. so far i am still of a small build, but i do have problems with hypoglycemic symptoms if i eat the wrong foods, have elevated testosterone and am getting the beginnings of some hairy problems.

when i hear lots of posts saying it gets worse with age & / or post babies i start to wonder how much hope there is for an active healthy life late on...

anyone??

on a side note, i have just started spiro recently and have noticed my moods seem more relaxed (but i do seem to be getting tired quite early in the day). also my appetite has decreased quite alot. has anyone else had these types of effects.

thanks!
