Stacy I didnt worry about the brown spots until they started appearing in nonPCOS places! I am really starting to wonder. the discoloration of me is pretty intense. I am worried because my father died of an undiagnosed disease that turned him really dark! I believe he died of undiagnosed Addisons.--at his autopsy they determined his heart had been strangled by calicium deposits---they blamed his heart failure on his weight mod obesity around high 200s. He also had low blood pressure. They had guessed at Lupus, and complement defiency and even Hepatitis! Wrong on all counts. I am undergoing further CUShings tests to make sure this doesnt happen to me. The darkening of the skin frightens me because of my father. Ive spent 5 years trying to figure out what is wrong with my body! I got the severe PCOS diagnosis this spring but even my endo has added possible polyglandular etc. He wont admit CUshings cause he said Id be dead by now, but many doctors dont know much about Cushings and it goes undiagnosed. Im so severe Im thinking something else besides PCOS is going on. Thanks for your help and support.
