i have been ttc for 3yrs with pco and have been on the highest dosage of clomid without success, did finally get in to an endocrinologist about 18 months ago, lost 50 pounds on my own and periods returned to ''normal'(very heavy),have recently started met and clomid together,no luck yet, endo says heavy periods with lots of clotting is a sign of not ovulating, have read tons of info on this site and bought toni weschler's taking charge of your fertility, very helpful, hope this is of some use to you, remember there is power in knowledge!best of luck and take care!jen
