What a mess, I am sorry to hear it! There is sooo much info out there on Metformin, unfortunately I am having a 'sick' day and I am not quite up to finding all the sites at the moment, but searching around should produce many. I know Dr Glueck's site has some, that's http://blues.fd1.uc.edu/~gartsips/polycyst.htm. Also go to the PCOS Association site at http://www.pcosupport.org and you should be able to find plenty of links to Met stuff!

As for the pap, no they don't hurt! If you are REALLY tense aout it, I have found that sometimes causes a bit of pressure when they're trying to insert a speculum (the thing that holds the walls of your vagina open momentarily so they can reach your cervix) but it doesn't really hurt. You can make it through it, no sweat!! Go out and treat yourself to something very nice afterwards for being so good to your body and taking care of yourself.

I wish you well with the endo and in finding a way to stop the bleeding!! Take care.
