Hi Elaine, My name is stacy and i have had a similar situation happen a few yrs ago. I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I would bleed during intercouse and bleed and bleed and bleed for months somemtimes. I had a laparoscopy and they found some endo there and removed it. I also would have pain during sex. I never had rectal bleeding though. It could very well be endometriosis and they could maybe try doing an infusion sonogram which is not painful and see if they see any signs of endometriosis or the only other option i know of would be to have a laparoscopy done. Not fun i know. I am so sorry you have to deal with all this good luck to you. I also have pcos too so i know what you are dealing with feel free to email me with questions any time ... Good luck. Stacy
