Becky, this "visitor" is proabaly an intense one because it has been so long since you have had one...if you continue having a cycle each month, they should return to normal...mine are provera induced, as the met has not effected that change in me as of yet, but i noticed they are returning to normal 3-5 day ones...i make myself feel better by taking about 600mg of ibuprophin and getting in a bathtub as hot as i can stand it and just soaking for awhile, sometimes i make myself some hot coca too, cause i feel the need to be pampered...light some candles, put on some soft music...relax...then after being in the tub for awhile, i get all snuggly and go to sleep..this helps me...i hope it helps you too =) love, paula
