Re: How many of us HONESTLY exercise?:for SkyeFrom: Barbara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 25 Oct 2000 19:00:16 -0500 (CDT)
Skye: the way I got started on excercising again was to start out slowly. I would take a 10 minute walk around the block. Everyone has 10 minutes somewhere in their day. Did I always 'feel like it'? NO. But, it does take some discipline or some motivation. If you are disciplined, put it on your calendar, or datebook and do it, if you are motivated, think about how much better you will feel about yourself once you are done, and once you start achieving your goals. If it is important to you will do it, if it is not then you won't. Some people have said, well what kind of results am I going to get after only 10 minutes? Well, the idea is to build up from there and you will probably find that once you have started you will want to go for longer, but if you are really too tired, then that 10 minutes is over pretty quick and you will feel alot better about yourself for having done it. I hope this helps, Good luck to you. At Tue, 24 Oct 2000, Skye wrote: > >I sure as heck am not. > >I don't seem to have any energy. I go to work... I come home... I go >to sleep.
