I know exactly how you are feeling. I had been on birth control and spironlactone for many years but on a very low dose. In July I finally found an doctor who would listen to me and diagnosed me with PCOS. He upped the spironlactone and also put me on metformin (glocaphage)& provera. About two weeks ago I found myself EXTREMELY moody. Crying for no apparent reason and just being very depressed. Not like myself at all. The doctor had me stop all the meds for a week to see if I felt better. I did. So now he has me on all of them except the provera. So far I am still myself so maybe it was the provera. As for the hair, no difference yet. I have an appointment to get started on laser removal on Thursday. Birth control put my periods back on track. Hope this helps.

I just found this discussion board and discovered that reading all the posts has helped me a lot.
