Carmen,

You may find more support than exact answers on this board, but hopefully we can help you find what you are looking for.

I, too, had a miracle baby before I knew I had PCOS (she was the only cycle I had that year!). I have yet to experience regular cycles (even on 1500 mg of Glucophage/Metformin), so I don't know what I will face in a year when my husband and I are going to try again. We thought we'd give it some time to take effect: the medication, diet, etc. You might look first into getting the right treatment for yourself before you think about more children. I know that isn't what you want to hear, but you deserve a chance to do something for yourself, not just to have another baby. I know that you will feel better about yourself with a gameplan and a caring doctor to walk through this with you.

And, lastly, you should remember that you are beautiful and strong in the eyes of many. I am sure your son and your husband admire you a great deal, and your family must think you are a great mother to want you to have more children. Take heart, and know that there is hope around the corner.

Sincerely,

--
Elle
