Re: ABOUT TO GO CRAZYFrom: Helen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 24 Oct 2000 21:17:50 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Carmen: You are not alone, and please use this board as a source of support during times of need. We are all in this together. It would seem that if the Doctor diagnosed PCOS as the root cause, then there may be merit to trying Met or one of the others (Avandia, etc.). Did that come up as an option? Was type 2 diabetes part of the diagnosis? It does sound like the more complex fertility treatment may be the next step. For me, once clomid did not work, I was moved on to pergonal, lupron, and a variety of other treatments. As always, getting another check out by an RE with expertise with PCOS is probably what you should consider. I wish you the best of luck. You will get through this!!!
