My RE said the exact same thing. It took me months to be able to get in to see him and another endo cannot see me until end of Dec!!! I have been considering my primary care doc. I really like him. I may just call and see if I can ask him how comfortable he feels about it treating my hyperthyroidism, PCOS, and now possibly Diabetes. The RE says he thinks that I have hyperthyroidism and diabetes II, but wants me to confirm with a medical endo.
