There are actually quite a few women suffering from PCOS who test "normal" in terms of insulin testing. However, metformin seems to work for a lot of these women also. It is theorised that people with PCOS are particularly sensitive to insulin, even at levels which would be otherwise considered "normal". Having said that, there are always going to be exceptions to the rule in medical science *G* Love Emma
