Hi, I've never posted to this forum before, I've been reading for a couple of weeks and have gained so much knowledge. I keep meaning to type an introduction message but wanted to comment on the skin. It sounds like it could be sebhorric dermatitis, I was diagnosed with this years ago. It affects my scalp, ears - inside and behind them, and the sides of my nose and results in dry, flaky skin and sometimes sores. My derm has prescribed Nizoral (can get over the counter now) and T-Gel, both of which work well on the scalp and ears and for my nose, hydrocortisone cream. This keeps things under control.

I've also had a bunch of grey hair for about 10 years, I'm 32.

I was hoping if anyone could tell me if a couple things I've been having really bad in the last 3 months could be related to the PCOS. The fist is dandruff, I've never had a problem with dandruff in my life, and now I have it where no medication is helping! and i can see on my hairline where the scalp is peeling., has anyone else experienced this that had reason to believe it had something to do with the PCOS?. The second one is grey hair. This one I'm really curious about, I just turned 23 a week ago and I'm finding grey hair all over head suddenly. It doesn't really bother me, it's fixable with hairdye.. but I am curious to know if they are related to PCOS. Any information would be most helpful. Thanks! >>> >>>Lisa >> >>-- >>Ann >>
