Hi all, I have been reading and posting here acouple of months and have learned a lot and was interested to know if other have had the same problems as me. When I was in my teens around 14 the famliy Dr. put me on bcps to control my perionds,some months I would have two and some months nothing. I took the pills on and off(mostly off)for two years. Then I just Quit taking them. I was vary sexauly active. When I was 22 I got Pregnant, had a little girl. Two months later I started the pills again this time I stayed on them for 5 years. I got married in Oct. 1990 and we decited we wanted to have a baby. So in Dec. I stopped taking the pill. I also stopped having perionds. My Dr. told my I just was not ovulating and sent me to a specialist. He gave me progestron(sp?) and clomid too. I felt like a pin coushion with all the test,Every month they would do a pg test. I was also very depressed. Finly I gave up we had spent lots of money with no answers. Then in may of 1992 I found out I saw pregnant again. Was a tuff one, I was sick a lot and loat a lot of weight. But on Dec.27 I had another little girl, all most seven years after my first. You would think thing where good after that, No way on I just bleed 72 day straight after having her. Had a very hard delivery too. then the messedup periond started again. NO bcp. We decited not to have any more. So I had a tubal ligation in 1993,my Dr. told my husband that I had cyst on my overys (sp?). In 1994 I moved and was going to a womens clinc and after 6 months of tests they told me I had PCOS and to take bcp to control my peroinds. I took them one month and bled the whole month so I stopped taking them. Now I not taking them and not seeing a Dr. NO money or Insurence. Don't know if I am Insulin Resistant or not. I am over weight. I have learn alot from all of you. I am scared for my daughters, I don't want them to have to go throught all this. Sorry so long bye for now.
