Shelly... I've been on Met for 4 months now and I can't say I have to watch out for the infections any less than I used to (though some of the suggestions on this board have really worked). I really think the yeast infections discussed on this board are more due to conditions (warm moist areas) rather than systemic because even being IR I have never in my life actually had a vaginal yeast infection. Just the external. Someone else may have a different story but it's about the only thing Met hasn't improved for me. Susan J
