Re: question about miscarriage (graphic) - Graphic reply tooFrom: Kallie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Sep 2000 01:20:55 -0500 (CDT)
First if you've had 3 (4?) periods this month - you really need to get in to see your OBGYN. There can be all kinds of problems that can cause that and you need to be evaluated. Every one's experience is different which is why it is important to see your Doc. I had heartburn when I was pregnant with my son and after that I got it more frequently. I just had a miscarriage and I had bleeding with clots - sometimes very large for over a week. Last night I passed something that looked like a grayish red grape with a string attached to it - it was very different from the other clots but it isn't always easy to tell. Also I was lucky that it happened to be on the tissue rather than dropping into the toilet. I took it with me this morning when I went for my D & E and my doctor said it was my baby and we sent it to pathology. If you are pregnant and having a miscarriage your Doc will be able to help you. You have some of the symptoms - bleeding, clots, cramping, backache.
