Hi all....confused here!!! :0) I started Metformin only 3 days ago. I am on a very low dose by my doc and I have to gradually work up to 1500 because he says that I will experience less side effects this way, (which is fine by me) but I have noticed that I feel different and I do not know if it a mental thing or what. I am not as tired as I used to be. Also, my skin is not as oily at all. Am I nuts??? Also, I have not had a period in over 100 days and today my ovaries are causing me some discomfort not extreme pain or anything.....and I also have some discomfort in my stomach area. The only way I can explain the stomach discomfort is this: I have children and have my tubes tied. When I had the procedure done, I had the same paina s I do right now. Is this something I should worry about? I would appreciate any info. (Could this also mean that I may be getting ready to start one heck of a period? Serena
