Hi and thankyou to all of you who posted about black women having PCOS. You were very helpful on this. Also to the women who e-mailed me and said that just because you are black PCOS doesn't discriminate, well just to clear it up, I never said it did discriminate. I have never discriminated against a black person, nor would I ever dream of doing that. A very close friend of mine is black and she asked me to post and ask if PCOS was a white thing only or if blacks could have it too. I didn't have the answer to her question, so that is the only reason that I posted what I did. Out of several messages replying back to me, they were all telling me basically that yes no matter what race, you can get PCOS. But the reason for this one being so long is I did have two people e-mail me and say that I was discriminating against blacks, and I am sorry if you may have taken that post the wrong way, but it was not meant to be anything more than just a simple question. Again, I am sorry if you thought I was discriminating against the black people, but I wasn't. Susan P.
