One thing to keep in mind, is that our rate of miscarrage "seems" higher
in this day and age. 100 years ago, women didn't know they were
pregnant until quickening.
It's estimated that 70% of women miscarry before they know they're
pregnant - many of us have had a heavier than normal period, or expelled
a clot - probably an unimplanted embryo.
