They explained why that happens but I can't remember what they told me now, sorry. Also, the test that can come back saying it's normal when you are IR is the fasting glucose test... I think for the most part the IGTT (3hr test) is accurate since it measures your insulin instead of just glucose. My tests were normal until the IGTT.
