I don't think trying to help someone is inappropriate. At first after I read it all I wanted was my gone baby's hand in mine - I felt like someone reached in my chest and tore out my heart with their bare hand.

Now all I can think of is my son's tiny hand wrapped around my finger the day he was born almost 3 years ago, and his hand in mine today - the way it has grown that give me comfort.
