Well, I go to the endo on wed. I am so excited because I've been under endo care for two years now. Everything has turned itself around. I had complete endocrin system failure and was very very sick about three years ago. Every gland in my body was malfunctioning. The pcos was at it's worse but I got help and on wed when I go to the doctor I will finally be able to report that all my symptoms are now gone(IN HIDING FOR NOW) I feel soooo good. I have energy like 20 yrs ago. no acne for over 6 mo. Weight has been stable for almost two years and I can actually eat. I low carb but I can actually have regular size portions of food without gaining. I have muscle tone now. I sleep well. The excess facial and body hair are totally a thing of the past. I have been steadily improving. It took about a year to get the majority of my symptoms under control and the the fine tuning and balancing have steadily improved over the next year . The last two things I've noticed to return to normal were my eylashes to be thick and healthy and my hair is now the thickness and condition it was when I was in my 20's. I feel sooo great and so happy that I just wanted to share it with everyone on the board first because this board is where I first found the support to deal with pcos. I have found so much info from the ladies here and have posted many of my own expierences so that I too could contribute to any of the newly diagnosed woman who reach out. I just wanted to share this so that others could maybe see there is hope and there are successes when dealing with pcos. I'm just really happy with my life and feel truly blessed not to have let pcos take over my sprit. I was very lost at one time and didn't think I would be able to overcome this but I found a way to accept and to deal and to reach out for the help. I found that I am a better person because of having this. I know that sounds crazy but I have learned alot about myself and others. I just know that I am a different person than I was say 5 yrs ago and I really like this lady that I have become. I know this isn't a post with any earth shattering info but I just thought that some of you might want to know that this pcoser is out there happy and HEALTHY.
