'B' SmartFrom: maggie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 12 Sep 2000 20:50:41 -0500 (CDT)
I am 36 and have dealt with the infertility aspect of PCO for around ten years. I have tried several cycles of clomid, glucaphage, and pergonal with HCG shots and IUI to support the ovulation. Guess what? Nothing medically ever worked. I have a 3 year old son who was conceived on my own after having a miscarriage and a D&C. Now with secondary infertility I have conceived on my own once again! What is my secret? Five things: low-carb diet, low dose aspirin, B complex vitamins, exercise and prayer. Ladies, I was at the point of be on the waiting list for IVF. Sometimes all the medicine in the world doesn't make it happen. Take a look at your whole self and try to consider what you might be deficient in. For me it might have been adding the B complex vitamins....it was the only thing that was different for me this month.
